WEXSPACE Enterprise Workflow Orchestrator
Problem and beneficiaries
Commercial facilities receive door and motion events, visitor requests, maintenance appointments, access requests and operational exceptions; these typically pass through disconnected devices, spreadsheets, and enterprise systems. Facility operators, authorized supervisors, maintenance planners and HR teams need a clear, accountable workflow rather than unverified alerts.
Solution and unique value
WEXSPACE transforms a verified facility event into a policy-checked, human-governed business workflow. It confirms event provenance, matches a synthetic appointment or work-order record, presents context to an authorized decision-maker, records explicit approval or rejection, and produces a traceable outcome with reversible testing.
Story for the competition
A contractor arrives at an industrial entrance. The competition build will receive a real event from a supported device API or its official simulator, correlate it with synthetic contractor and maintenance records, show the relevant evidence to a supervisor, and perform only a permitted test action after approval. No motion/doorbell event will be treated as proof of identity or permission to enter.
Enterprise integration strategy
SAP Fiori and SAP SuccessFactors are contemplated as enterprise systems for real deployments. This entry must not connect to an employer's live systems, HR records, or privileged sessions without express authorization. A segregated adapter with synthetic business data is the default. When an official authorized sandbox is available, its specific API calls, role scopes, consent and readback will be demonstrated truthfully.
Technical acceptance target
The demo must show the required device API or official simulator invoked by code, event verification, identity- and role-bound approval, controlled action execution and an independent readback. Purely fabricated notifications do not count as evidence of the required integration.
Submission transparency
This is an initial project draft, not a claim of an already working official integration, production SAP connector, completed video, or hackathon acceptance. Only verified implemented features will be represented as complete. Dedicated code, build instructions, test evidence, product feedback and a public short demo will be added before final submission.
