Inspiration

The inspiration behind Wevora stemmed from the desire to simplify the website-building process for individuals and businesses. We noticed a gap in the market for a no-code AI-powered website builder that could generate content, select images, and offer multiple themes, all while providing an easy deployment solution. Wevora was born out of the need to make website creation accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise.

What it does

Wevora is a no-code AI-powered website builder that allows users to create stunning landing pages effortlessly. The platform utilizes an AI model to generate text, select images, and offer multiple themes based on the user's site idea. Users can customize their landing pages using the CMS editor and deploy them to BTFS for fast and secure hosting. At the moment, Wevora focuses on creating landing pages where users can redirect visitors to product pages or collect user information such as email addresses for building a mailing list or other purposes. In the future, Wevora plans to expand its capabilities to support building more types of websites, such as blogs.

How we built it

Wevora was built using a combination of modern web development tools and frameworks. The frontend is built with Vue.js and Vuetify, while the backend utilizes MongoDB for data storage. We integrated an AI model to generate content and select images based on the user's input. The deployment to BTFS was achieved by running a BTFS node and using the BTFS API and the command line tool to interact with it, ensuring a seamless hosting experience for our users.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was integrating the AI model into the platform seamlessly. We had to ensure that the generated content and selected images were relevant and of high quality. Since we are using Pixabay API to retrieve images sometimes the image selected isn’t the most appropriate. Additionally, deploying to BTFS posed some challenges, the test network gateway wasn’t working so we had to use BTFS main net to deploy the generated site files.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a platform that empowers users to create stunning landing pages without coding knowledge. Wevora's AI-powered features, combined with its easy deployment to BTFS, set it apart from other website builders. We are also proud of the user-friendly interface we have created, making it easy for anyone to build a website with Wevora.

What we learned

Throughout the development of Wevora, we learned a great deal about AI integration, prompt engineering, BTFS deployment, and user experience design. We gained valuable insights into simplifying complex processes and making them accessible to a wider audience.

What's next for Wevora

Moving forward, we plan to enhance Wevora with new features and improvements based on user feedback. We aim to expand our theme selection, improve our AI prompts, and provide more customization options for our users.
