Inspiration

Holloween is coming up and we were all thinking how cool it would be to have a robot werewolf that lunged at people.

What it does

The eyes glow bright green from LEDS.

How I built it

We used skateboard wheels for the stage so we could move it easily. Then we connected wood and metal together using screws and washers. The shape of the werewolf was made using newspaper, styrofoam and lots of fur. The eyes glow using LEDs powered by Arduino.

Challenges I ran into

Connecting all the structures together was hard because we mixed wood and metal and used parts we had to save money. Our design adapted alot as we built it.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Building the structure and getting all the fur on so it looked realistic. It may not be much, but we are super proud that we hot the LEDs to work. This is all our first Havkaton and out first time working with Arduino. This was even Adib's first time building a circuit and he learned about parallel and series circuits.

What I learned

This was Adib's first time building a circuit and he learned about parallel and series circuits. We also learned to get all our supplies before the Hackathon to save time.

What's next for Werewolf

We want to continue working on it and learn how to operate motors to get the arms to move, the jaws to snap and we want to install speakers to get the werewolf to snarl and howl.
