Inspiration
When I started the hackathon, I had to tell my teammates that I couldn't complete my lab (for school homework) and we made a google doc to delegate tasks and consolidate resources. Obviously, this was not the best way to delegate and organize tasks, and so I decided to make WePlan.
What it does
WePlan is a team collaboration and organization application, where you can organize tasks and responsibilities amongst team members. This can be used as a personal to-do list, a team to-do list, or even a calendar.
How I built it
I built this with html, css, and javascript
Challenges I ran into
One challenge was the short amount of time I had to complete this hack, so it doesn't work entirely but the concept is definitely there.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
This is the first functional application I ever made, and I am proud that after a few hackathons and a bunch of video-watching and reading I was able to pull this off in a matter of hours.
What I learned
I learned how to make applications, and I also learned a lot about using GitHub (pages) and website domains and all that fun stuff.
What's next for WePlan
WePlan currently is just code running as a web-GUI, if multiple people were to use it there is no way to get all of them on the same planning page. The next steps for WePlan would be to start hosting a server and a website for it, and making it so that people can log-in and work together (using something like twilio).
