Inspiration

Being away from home for a lot of people means you miss out on a lot of moments but with technology now. You can grab your phone and video chat any one from anywhere in the world and share every moment.

What it does

It allows you to initiate a video chat with any of your Ayoba contacts

How I built it

The frontend is written in React JS and uses HTML 5, video and audio capabilities to serve live video chats from my Python API using Twilio

Challenges I ran into

Streaming live video with audio - all in sync
Limitation of the web container
Latency issues

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

That I was actually able to get it to work.

What I learned

I learnt way more than the normal person needs to know about video codecs and encoding
That python probably has some of the best libraries for this but might not be the most scale-able at the same time ## What's next for Wenzan
Adding more features
Making it a lot more stable.
