Inspiration

While working as a community growth manager at Gate.io, I always struggled with rewarding survey participants for their valuable feedback. With Wenti.io, I can easily distribute rewards and develop innovative features with direct feedback from the users all in one place.

What it does

Wenti.io allows you to login with metamask create surveys and automatically reward participants with an airdrop.

How we built it

Those were the main frameworks, and tools that allowed us to build our product; -Using Next.js as a backend framework, -Hardhat for smart contract development, -MongoDB to register the users, their surveys, and the survey answers

Challenges we ran into

I think that time is the biggest challenge, and in order to manage time, concrete in project deadlines have to be set. It's not an easy task to set timeframes to task that we have never performed before. If deadlines are not respected, then, we have to compromise on some part of the product.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

On the Development part of our team, we are very proud to be able to deliver a project this big, At start, this task seemed unachievable, but here we are delivering a functional product. Every error was a challenge and every small success was an achievement.

What we learned

We learned how to use a Database and Nextjs framework. Deepened understanding of api request, js/react. Creating Wenti.io also greatly improved our error handling and solving. A better understanding of project design and management, through our misjudgment and mistakes, has been acquired.

What's next for Wenti.io

-Improve the smart contract architecture.

-Add missing functionality to the development version.

-Get our product in the hands of early adopters and gather feedback to improve it.

-Modular release: The components of the Wenti Dapp will become available as they are completed and graduate from the test net, with Decentralised storage among one of its first tasks.

-Introduce Wenti token to reduce market research fees.

-Become the reference market research Dapp for web 3 companies
