Inspiration

The world's non-renewable energy resources, notably fossil fuels, are being rapidly depleted. This is due to the accelerating energy requirements made by rapid global population growth and development, in addition to the huge amount of co2 gas emitted due to energy production and consumption.

What it does

Our solution is a service that implements a monitoring, targeting and managing system that provides you the essential information and data analysis you need to achieve energy efficiency and target energy saving opportunities in .

How we built it

We used Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to collect, categorize and analyze information from different sensors. We used also Big data techniques:

• CLASSIFICATION TREE ANALYSIS: to categorize data (lighting, HVAC,…).
• ASSOCIATION RULE LEARNING to discover interesting correlations between variables in our categorized data.
• GENETIC ALGORITHMS: for example to know the right time to turn-on each machine to minimize the cost.
• Machine Learning: Prediction of the cost in the next few months .

Challenges we ran into

understand the market of energy in Algeria. come up with an affordable solutions that fits every clients.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

finding a solution to a smart city problems. create a new start up idea helping in the mouvement of making the world a better place.

after wining the competition :) hopefully we will start our project and implement what we palnned this last 48 hours.
