Inspiration

The story of a young girl who had to die from bone cancer because of financial constraints and lack of proper medical attention is a strong reminder that health care has to be accessible. In this regard, it is so sad because such a tragedy occurs when there is little resource input in health provision and also in unequal access.

This tragedy, in turn, is powerfully answered by the mission of this app-to connect people with doctors at a more affordable price. It endeavors to make sure that such situations do not happen again and that one and all get a chance to receive the required care without having to think about the cost factor. This is not just a mission of technology; it's a mission of compassion, equity, and a belief that all human beings deserve access to quality healthcare.

In summary, creating a health application may be a very personal inspiration; it usually emanates from the heart and a need to contribute something good to the world. Whether through personal experience, observing others' struggles, or the belief in the power of technology to improve healthcare, the motivation for these applications usually comes from a desire to enhance health outcomes and empower people to take responsibility for their well-being.

The story of the man who died because he couldn't afford to see a doctor brings into sharp focus how mission-critical the app is. Affordable, accessible health care: that's the way to save lives, and that's what this app wants to make possible for all people.

Challenges we ran into

We were aiming for cross-platform compatibility Ensure the best UI experience Rigorous Testing for bugs and errors

What we learned

We learnt how to work with app development learning from the obstacles of debugging, and also working with 3d modelling and with designing our one-of-a-kind product - The 'Perfect' Box.

What's next for WellTrack

Increasing Features and Services: Expansion of the app to a wider range of features and services in healthcare will involve such services as mental health, chronic disease management, and preventative care. Improving User Experience: Based on the feedback received, we will keep refining user experience and incorporate new technologies to enhance the usability and accessibility of the app. Building Partnerships: We will explore partnerships with healthcare providers, insurers, and other organizations to widen access to the app, embedding it into the fabric of healthcare as a whole. Research and Evaluation: Continuous research and evaluation are supposed to be carried out on how the app has improved user health outcomes to bring out improvement areas.
