Inspiration

Current implementation of chatbots within the healthcare industry and the growing issues related to seasonal affective disorder (SAD), specially in countries with colder climates.

What it does

Offers a comprehensive application system that facilitates access to resources which can help in the assessment and treatment of seasonal depression. Unique features include users being able to gain community support, get access to professional guidance, and personalized approaches using AI-based chatbots.

How we built it

We included user accessible and intuitive elements to design an interface of the app in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Due to our limited tech background, finding methods to implement our solution was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We had learned the workings of the fundamental features of Figma within a short period of time. Applying our ideas into technical platforms was entirely a self-learned experience and we were able to finish a project within the time limit and our non-tech background.

What we learned

This weekend we learned how to use Figma, as well as create solutions to bigger problems through collaboration.

What's next for wellSAD

Develop a more sustainable plan that outlines strategies for long-term viability, growth, and impact. Taking other aspects into consideration, such as diversify revenue streams, cultivate partnerships, and build capacity to ensure the project's success and accuracy in providing information regarding seasonal affective disorder.
