Inspiration

This project was inspired by the healthcare community throughout North America. We wanted to help make the lives of caretakers' and others who have underlying health conditions easier by creating an app that can help remind and track the data of ones medical conditions.

What it does

Wellness check provides the opportunity to record the date of the medical entry, record the medication being administered to patients. Caretakers, doctors, and patients are also able to write further information on their day and medical dosage calculations.

How we built it

This project was built with Python, Python GUI, as well as Figma.

Challenges we ran into

We wanted to build on this project by adding timers and creating more opportunities for users to interact with the app through Python GUI, however we faced obstacles such as our code having errors and being on a time constraint which held us back.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to complete a functioning and visual application which can help users with their day-to-day life.

What we learned

We learned that our ideas and projects can always be thought further and expanded on with more complex functions and different perspectives from broader groups of people.

What's next for Wellness Check

We plan on adding new functions, as well as considering other users such as high school teenagers who can also use this app to manage stress and track their health during long school hours.
