About the project – WellNectar Hive was born out of a passion for harnessing the power of AI to make health management easier and more personalized. Inspired by the need for accessible, data-driven tools, the goal was to create a supportive space where individuals, particularly those managing chronic conditions, could gain insights and take meaningful actions toward better wellness
What it does – Managing health can feel overwhelming, especially with chronic conditions. The inspiration for WellNectar Hive came from seeing the potential of technology to alleviate this burden by providing personalized guidance and a streamlined experience. Our goal was to empower users with actionable insights, helping them stay informed and proactive in their health journey.
How we built it – Frontend: React and TailwindCSS, for a responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interface. Backend: Node.js and Express to handle data processing, with integration to a Python-based recommendation engine that generates personalized health advice. Data & AI: Python powered the recommendation system, using AI to deliver meaningful insights based on user data.
Challenges we ran into – Seamless Integration: Connecting the frontend, backend, and AI modules was initially challenging. Ensuring smooth communication between these components required troubleshooting and optimization.
Accomplishments that we're proud of – Creating a Functional AI-Driven Recommendation System: Proud of the AI module, which interprets user data to provide personalized recommendations. It was challenging but rewarding to build an AI feature that truly adds value.

What's next for WellNectar Hive: Expanded Health Tracking: Allowing users to track additional health metrics like sleep and mood, creating a more comprehensive wellness tool.
