Inspiration

In my line of work, we need to explain a lot of complex system designs to non-technical audiences. Explaining technical diagrams can be a real challenge

What it does

This tool makes it easier to produce easy to understand diagrams. Instead of using special notations, symbols with semantics. It opt for simple boxes and lines, verbatim labels and having explanations in the components in the diagram.

It allows Diagrams to have sub diagrams and user can traverse the links between diagrams. Users can drill down from enterprise architecture to a more details EA diagrams and then drill down to the application level architecture diagrams and drill further down to the to network and physical level design.

It handle tedious repetitive and error prone works such as grouping with auto-grouping and grouping rules.

How we built it

100% built just with MeDo

Challenges we ran into

Code can change drastically wiping out the previous works.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I sure wont be able to hand code a diagramming tool y hand . had to rely on expensive library in the past.

What we learned

I learned that MeDo can be depended on to build quite intricate applications.
