Inspiration
We believe in the power of community, and everyone helping each other to learn and reach a collective higher level of understanding. One of the biggest challenges with school, which has only been magnified by distance learning, is getting help with concepts you don't understand. To fix this problem, we invented a beautiful and simplistic solution: having other students in the same class answer your questions quickly and conveniently, all through an elegant website.
What it does
This website allows you to post questions about anything you need help with within a specific class. Then, other students will reply to your posts, answering your questions in an easy-to-understand way. You can receive help, and you can give help by answering the questions and concerns of other students.
How we built it
Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled with storing the mass amount of information and displaying it on many interconnected web pages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of making a dazzling website with smooth functionality. We think this could be a serious idea implemented in the real world that would truly improve the quality of education for students worldwide.
What we learned
We learned how to store objects in local storage to create seamless transition and progression throughout the website.
What's next for WeLearn
Incorporate features such as accounts, upvotes, specialized teacher views, etc...
