Inspiration

Despite the rapid development of cryptocurrencies in the past few years, there is still a huge gap in the ability to pay with them anywhere, as is the case with Fiat. But we firmly believe that crypto and CBDC are the next round in the evolution of money, so we want to accompany this transition period between fiat and crypto, making it as simple and user-friendly as possible.

What it does

Weld issues VISA NFT cards, which are directly plugged to your crypto account on any CEX. You pay for the goods via Apple / Google Pay in any store or on the Internet, and at this moment Weld gives your overdraft in fiat and transfers the needed amount from your wallet to Weld’s wallet.

Challenges we ran into

Technical integration with wallet has become a huge problem, since the allowable processing speed of each transaction should not exceed 4 seconds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To date, we have managed to successfully integrate 3 different cryptocurrency exchanges. This is the first solution on the market that supports the ability to pay from different sources
