mERP was inspired by over 10 years of seeing the pain and costs that both manufacturers and retailers incur by using antiquated technologies to manage their back-office ERP and WMS operations. I recently visited a 38,000 square foot warehouse and they had 12 people doing the job that should only require 6, plus is was very error prone. I knew there had to be a better way and these companies could see huge gains in productivity with a better solution. mERP is the answer!
The target mERP user is manufacturers and retailers who manage a large number of orders, suppliers, purchase orders and returns on a daily basis. By even small gains in efficiency, the application can make a huge impact on the company's operational efficiency and bottom line. It's anticipated that mERP will result in an average reduction of 16-35% in time required to count a warehouse and also result in 6-18% more accurate operations.
