*welchome * was born when noticing the needs of the customers of shared flats such as Air B & B. Many times, we as users have had lack of information to arrive to a flat, we have not been able to find the right instructions for the washing machine or turned the water of some device in the kitchen while trying to find a way to flush the bathroom in a different language.
What it does?
Our property management app will provide a lot of information to final Users. Detailes such as:
- Through a QR Code, the app will be able to provide information about objects
- Where exactly is the entrance key?
- How does the washing machine works?
- How does the coffee machine functions?
- Or any other detail about how to turn on/off any device
How we built it?
Challenges we ran into
Some of the challenges we encountered were learning some coding in a very short amount of time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As a team we learned a lot about programming some of us were not used to programming languages and during this process we did.
What we learned?
- We did a market research and found out that people did not like to interact too much with hosts. (40% ot total surveys answered)
- Customer esperience can be improved a great deal.
What's next for welchome?
We would like to pursue this same idea but with image recongnition
