Our journey to improve the job search process began with a personal story of frustration and revelation. After being unexpectedly let go from a tech project management position, I found myself sending out 20-30 job applications daily, only to be met with silence. The turning point came when a friend suggested tailoring my CV for each job application. This advice led to a significant difference - customizing my resume for my top 5 dream jobs resulted in 4 interview calls within a week. It was a eureka moment that sparked the idea for WeHunt: a vision to transform the tedious, manual job search into an LLM-powered hands off experience.

In an era where technology has advanced leaps and bounds, the process of job hunting remains daunting, time-consuming, and fraught with manual efforts that often lead to frustration and missed opportunities. We decided to improve the job search process by leveraging Large Language Models and advanced algorithms to empower candidates and simplify the complexities of modern-day job hunting.

Our mission is to liberate time, alleviate the stress of job hunting, and empower individuals to prioritize personal growth, quality family moments, and the activities they cherish, rather than investing hours in the search for their ideal career.

The Problem: Despite technological advancements, professionals still grapple with the archaic and laborious process of manual job searches and constant resume updates. This inefficiency not only wastes time but also adds unnecessary stress, hindering career progression. The average job seeker spends nearly 5 months searching for a new position, often submitting 100 to 200 applications with a meager 8.3% chance of landing an interview.

The Solution: WeHunt is a personalized job search assistant that utilizes fine-tuned LLM models and a robust vector database to match candidates with their ideal job roles. By integrating with professional profiles like LinkedIn, Behance, and GitHub, WeHunt continuously updates user profiles with their latest achievements, ensuring their CVs are always fresh and relevant.

WeHunt has already secured access to over 6 million job offers through strategic partnerships with job indexers. Our vision is to expand our database by incorporating medium-sized job boards, niche platforms, and social media-exclusive job offers, broadening our reach and enhancing our service offerings.
