Sunset - Weekly Alarm Calendar is a mobile alarm clock app that displays alarms by days active, rather than the order of time.
I'm the kind of person who is perpetually late, and thus I always have to set 4-6 alarms for every event I have going on in a day. Furthermore, my schedule looks different every day, so that means my alarm app is filled with a long list of alarms mixed from every day of the week, ranging from sunrise to sunset. I have yet to find an app that will group alarms by the specific days they are active, so I designed a Figma prototype for an app I think needs to be made.
This project was an exercise for me to practice my UI design skills. Things I took into consideration were the color scheme of the app, the placement of the various menus, and the touch gestures. I'm hoping to become a front-end web developer in the future, so design is a big priority of mine. It's possible that in the future I might find mobile developers or back-end developers that could help bring my prototype to life.
