Inspiration

I would love to have this service for myself. I am a college student who loves to travel, and the most expensive cost for me is flights. I, like many adventurous people, am willing to travel anywhere. I love spontaneous trips.

What it does

This is a super simple website that shows the cheapest round trip flights for the upcoming weekend from your origin.

How we built it

Built using html, css, and javascript. I used the American Airlines API

Challenges we ran into

Justin had no previous experience in javascript and using API's. This has been a really fun experience. Thank you to Spencer and Luis.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think the UI is really pretty. It is youthful and hip while still in the American Airlines brand.

What we learned

I learned a lot about javascript and api's and web development.

What's next for Weekend Trip with American Airlines

Build it out to search all flights. Modify search to search round trip flights. Put on the web for people to use!
