Idea behind the project

The idea originates from having to switch between apps or tabs in order to send memes and translations in the middle of a conversation with our buddies. So we have came up with a flutter chat app which inculcates the traditional chat app but with some extra spice which comes from the mischievous translator, trending memes and stickers all in one place to keep the crazy conversation going silky smooth.

Features

The app lets user chat with their friends ,send memes, stickers and use a mischievous translator.

Tools Used

We built the app using Flutter, Firebase, Heroku ,NLTK and Flask

Challenges faced

Connecting messages to the proper user, creating custom stickers, mischief translator, meme generator were some of the challenges that we faced.

We are happy that we could make a chat application from scratch and complete most of it within 48 hours.

What we learnt

We learned using various technologies like Flask, and Heroku which we had never used earlier in any projects

Future Plans

We plan to add a group chat feature as an improvement.
