Inspiration

There are several factors one should consider to organize a perfect wedding, but things never go as expected. There are often more last-minute tasks that happen during the wedding function, and the budget ends up being overpaid. To address such issues, I have created an app.

What it does

My app has listed all the services one can expect in their dream wedding, and it also showcases the currently trending elements in the form of properties, decorations, and more. Additionally, we offer a smart booking system that allows users to view and include all possible services within their budget and time frame. By doing so, the event can be properly planned at the initial stage.

How we built it

The app was designed using Figma, built with React Native, and utilized JavaScript for backend operations.

Challenges we ran into

I faced some issues with navigation and icon placement in the app. After reading articles and docs, I was able to address those bugs and achieve the expected outcome.

What we learned

I learned how mobile apps work and gained knowledge about the usage of React Native. I managed to learn the core concepts of React and successfully built the app.

What's next for WeddPlan React Native Application

The backend operations should be improved, such as integrating cloud modules to enable real-time performance of the smart booking analysis model.
