WeCreate

Inspiration

All children are artists who use their developing creativity to explore and understand the world. Unfortunately, many reach a point where they stop engaging with art. By using image to image generation we hope to make it easier for kids to make something that they're proud of, and hopefully encourage them to keep being creative for a lifetime.

WeCreate makes it easier for young minds to engage with art and gets them used to AI and it's capabilities.

What it does

The basics of WeCreate is that a user can draw an image on our website portal and then submit it to be upscaled via ModelsLab.

Challenges we ran into

Combining so many different technologies and languages into one cohesive product inevitably caused a lot of bugs. But learning how to deal with these is necessary for developing a tool like this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're very proud to have created a website with front end and back end integration!

What we learned

Our team had never worked on web design before. So this project was a crazy crashcourse in html/css/java integration, frontend and backend development, and connecting to outside websites/services to make something new. We're all very proud of what we managed to learn over the course of one hackathon, and are excited to see what comes next.

What's next for WeCreate

Our future goals would be to implement a live feed of user creations to foster community. Stretch goals include accounts so users that have eachother's add codes can view and trade eachother's images
