Inspiration

I’ve had my computer on the brink of getting compromised a lot of times, had to wipe other devices because of faulty malware scans and some being undetectable.

What it does

Checks for suspicious behavior in network logs, checks certificates, and scans for common malware, Trojans, and backdoors in websites.

How I built it

Just using JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and a CSS styling sheet

Challenges we ran into

Trying to fix the look and feel of the side paneling option

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

Learned how to style better using CSS Learned how to properly format my JSON pages

What we learned

Debugging JavaScript is extremely easy as long as you have documentation handy

What's next for Website Security Browser Extension

I want to extend this to not just websites but downloads
