Inspiration

This hack was designed to address Opportunities for Inclusion's biggest pain points: securing funding and recruiting volunteers.

What it does

It allows for much easier navigation of the OfI website, with interactive interfaces that will more effectively draw in donors and allow volunteers to more easily learn about and sign up for volunteering opportunities. It also enables integration with a CMS for more management over volunteer opportunities and who has signed up for them.

How I built it

The mockups were created using figma, and the example CMS used in the demo is strapi.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge for us was that we could not contact the organization at all since we were forced to start Saturday night. However, we managed to make a complete pitch in the end!

What's next for Website redesign

The next steps are the actual integration, which would either be done by the firm that designed OfI's website or some interns over a summer, and creating a training video to teach staff how to use it.
