Inspiration

I got interested in facial aesthetics after seeing creators analyze faces using proportions. I tried doing it manually on my own photos and realized this could be turned into a tool.

What it does

Moggerman analyzes 50+ facial metrics linked to male attractiveness and provides a structured breakdown with personalized improvement suggestions.

How we built it

I built it as a web app that processes facial images, extracts key landmarks, and evaluates proportions to generate feedback.

Challenges we ran into

Current models don’t reliably capture side-face landmarks. To work around this, I designed an interactive interface where users can manually submit side-profile landmarks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even after being inactive for 5 months, the product still gets 20+ daily users with zero marketing—purely through word of mouth.

What we learned

Early assumptions can hurt. Features should be validated quickly—ideally within 24 hours. If validation takes longer, the approach needs to change. We should belive in our product.

What's next for Moggerman

Turn it into a more complete assistant that helps users improve their facial aesthetics with clearer guidance and better analysis.
