Inspiration

I worked for 3 month in a company specialized in e-learning solutions. I discovered the needs of their customers in IT.

What it does

From a simple webpage, the client can generate his own Webconference platform (based on BigBlueButton)

How I built it

A html form invite the client to register by giving some informations. A webservice is in charge of creating the docker container from a given image and the client informations. In return an url is attributed to the client so he can connect to his webconf manager.

Challenges I ran into

Finding the right idea (i tested 5 dockers images including moodle, odoo...)

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This platform can actually generate any type of docker container as long as we provide an image. I am proud of making so simple for people to setup an entire webconference environnement in a couple of minuts.

What I learned

Docker was a really amazing product for me. I also learned how to create a java webservice.

What's next for Webconference generator

Secure the webservice and then find custumers!
