Inspiration

As the founder and CEO of the award-winning global platform Women in Blockchain Talks (WiBT), I often hear the same thing: people from all walks of life want to learn more about Web3, but they feel overwhelmed, confused, or simply don’t know where to begin. The jargon, the speed of change, and the sense of exclusivity can be intimidating.

I was inspired to create Web3 Me! ** as a way to **gamify that initial entry point. Turning Web3 discovery into a fun, quiz-style experience not only makes it more accessible—it helps users find a starting point that matches their interests and personality. Once they complete the quiz, they’re naturally invited to continue their learning journey through the WiBT community and tools like De3PA – Web3 Personal Assistant, creating a full ecosystem of empowerment.

What I Learned

What started as a quick idea for a one-prompt challenge quickly evolved into something more meaningful. I realised that by expanding the project beyond a single prompt, I could provide a more playful, personalized, and useful experience.

Through this process, I saw how much my skills and confidence had grown. Building this challenge allowed me to use the tools and insights I’ve gained from previous experiments—especially through De3PA—and I'm really proud that I followed the instinct to go bigger. It turned out to be one of the most fun and creatively fulfilling parts of the hackathon.

How I Built It

I began by exploring the concept in ChatGPT, sketching out how the quiz should flow, what personas it might result in, and how to reflect the values of inclusion, education, and empowerment.

Once the concept was clear, I brought the code into Bolt.new—a strategic choice to avoid wasting credits and to maintain a clean, testable workflow. I also aimed to integrate ElevenLabs to provide a voice-powered experience, but ran into technical challenges. Eventually, I implemented voice as an optional add-on, which balanced functionality with stability.

Finally, I wanted to collect user data ethically and meaningfully, so I integrated a sign-up form that appears before quiz results are revealed. This not only helps me build and grow the WiBT community but also adds a layer of intentional engagement that supports our mission.

Challenges I Faced

One major challenge was working with ElevenLabs. At first, their system struggled with consistency, and it impacted the overall flow of the quiz. I eventually restructured the logic so that the voice output became optional rather than automatic. This simplified the experience and resolved the issue—proving once again that simplicity is a strength, not a compromise.

Another challenge was figuring out how to store and use data responsibly. Since the quiz is part of a larger vision for community growth, I added a user sign-up form before revealing results. This turned out to be a strong move, helping me grow WiBT while creating an onboarding funnel that feels personal and non-intrusive.

Final Thoughts

Inclusion and diversity are not just themes—they are principles that shape how I build. Every decision I made with Web3 Me! was guided by the question: “How can we include the many, not just the few?” This quiz is a doorway, not a gate. I’m excited to see it evolve as part of the broader WiBT platform—and to watch it become a starting point for countless future builders, creators, and change-makers in the Web3 space.
