Inspiration

Sales and Marketing team spends 2 hours daily in search of opportunities for business. Various sites are searched with a range of keywords to identify probable opportunities. If Sales Team fails to notice an opportunity it translates to revenue lost.

What it does

1.Opens various web sites, searches for a list of keywords provided by Sales Team 2.Extracts details such as published date, Opportunity Name, Hyperlink, Description from the websites. 3.Copies the data to Excel file and Email to Sales Team

How we built it

1.Collaborated with Sales Team to gather their pain points 2.Suggested RPA solution for identifying Opportunities 3.Got list of web sites and keywords to search for

Challenges we ran into

to calculate the DOMXPath such that same DOMXPath for a particular field can be used across all the keywords

What we learned

We learnt how to solve some of the out of the world problems like this web scraping with RPA

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of relieving the Sales Team from mundane data collection and enabling them to identify more opportunities.
