🏕️ WEB SCOUT MANAGER SYSTEM 💡 What it does Web Scout Manager System is a web-based platform that streamlines the administration of scout groups. It allows leaders to manage members, organize activities, track attendance, store medical records, monitor payments, and share documents—while offering role-based access for scouts, leaders, and parents. The goal is to replace scattered tools (like spreadsheets and WhatsApp) with a centralized and secure system.

🛠️ How we built it We developed the system using:

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend interface.

Supabase as the backend (authentication, database, and storage).

Bolt AI to generate prompts for database schema design, feature planning, and security logic.

Blackbox AI to assist with JavaScript functions, DOM manipulation, and error handling.

The entire system was built without frontend frameworks, using clean and modular vanilla JavaScript, styled with responsive CSS, and connected directly to Supabase services.

🚧 Challenges we ran into Handling authentication flows: Managing session states and redirecting users based on roles using Supabase Auth took trial and error.

Role-based UI control: Showing the right content per user (e.g., a parent vs. a leader) was tricky without frameworks.

Form validation and real-time updates were implemented from scratch, which required detailed testing.

Learning to write effective AI prompts in Bolt and Blackbox to generate relevant and accurate solutions was an iterative process.

🏅 Accomplishments that we're proud of Building a fully functional scout management system without relying on heavy frontend libraries or frameworks.

Successfully implementing secure login, real-time data handling, and document management with Supabase.

Leveraging AI tools to solve real development problems and improve productivity.

Creating a tool that could actually be adopted by real scout groups and scaled to different troop sizes.
