Think about your favorite aspects of daily life, your favorite artists, food, fashion, and movies. There’s an overwhelming chance that Black culture has played a major role in shaping them. African American history and creativity have profoundly influenced the world around us, yet these contributions are often overlooked, miscredited, or even erased.

This erasure negatively impacts how African Americans, especially the youth, see themselves and their potential. Icons like Louis Armstrong, Langston Hughes, and countless others showcase the depth and vibrancy of Black culture. When their contributions go unrecognized, it diminishes the visibility of Black excellence, limiting future generations' aspirations and belief in their own capabilities.

The Web of Culture is our solution, a dynamic, interactive network that traces the deep roots of Black history and its influence on modern culture. It highlights the resilience of African traditions, showing how they endured hardships and evolved into the rich and diverse African American culture we celebrate today.

By giving credit where it’s due, we aim to inspire young minds, fostering a renewed sense of pride, creativity, and ambition for a better future.
