Inspiration
When I was younger, I always used to keep myself updated with the latest PC components, comparing them on websites like CPU-Monkey and UserBenchmark. I loved how easy it was to compare and change what was compared. I noticed that I have never seen this same concept with homes. I believe that with a tool like this, a decision like picking homes can be much easier as the important information is shown and compared, like geographic details and schools.
What it does
It takes the URL of two houses from Zillow and compares them with the selected criteria side-by-side.
How we built it
Using HTML/CSS and JavaScript on Visual Studio Code.
Challenges we ran into
Making the front end look as we desired.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Using APIs
What we learned
Learning the essence of full stack development, and navigating APIs.
What's next for RoofFindr
Expanding it into comparing more things than just homes.
