learning new things about web scraping and data mining
What it does
It collects the data user need from a website and represent it graphically to them.
How we built it
we started with the front end design through html5 and the mentors guided us through the entire process of data scrapping and data mining.
Challenges we ran into
we didn't know anything about css,,javascript, that's why we are still facing problem to run our website succesfully.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
it successfully learned about data scrapping through BeautifulSoup and scrappy
What we learned
we learned that we can develop our coding skills if we concentrate more on web development
What's next for WEB MONITERING TOOL
for now we are trying to implement our website successfully we are targeting only one illegal website. hopefully in near future we will be able to scrap data from more illegal websites and even from dark-web
