Inspired by uniswap, i decided to build a cross chain defi platform with easier UX

What it does

Weaveswap is a Decentralized finance (DEFI) application on the BASE blockchain. swap, lend, borrow and add liquidity tokens with superior UX

How we built it

weaveswap was built with the stack listed below:

  • viem ## Challenges we ran into ensuring all the test pass and the inter related complex smart contracts was very difficult ## Accomplishments that we're proud of Writing smart contracts, deploying, verifying and testing the smart contracts myself, as well as the frontend integrations with wagmi hooks is an accomplishment i am very proud of. ## What we learned I learn how to deploy and test smart contracts using hardhat ignition. also, integrating smart contracts on the frontend using wagmi hooks was kind of difficult and took some getting used to ## What's next for weaveswap in the near future, weaveswap would integrate chainlink CCIP protocol to enable multichain asset swapping, lending and borrowin across multiplle blockchains
