Inspiration

Modern companies rely on dozens of tools like GitHub, Notion, Slack, and Linear, but their knowledge remains scattered. Finding information often means switching between apps or asking teammates. We built Weave to solve this by creating an AI-powered intelligence layer that connects organizational knowledge into one searchable workspace.

What it does

We built the foundation of Weave, an AI Operating System for modern companies. The current prototype showcases a fast, responsive landing experience that introduces our vision of unifying company knowledge into a single AI-native platform.

How we built it

Weave was built using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and deployed on Vercel. The long-term architecture is designed around AI-powered retrieval, enabling context-aware answers across connected tools.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was defining the product itself. Instead of building another productivity tool, we focused on creating an AI layer that works with existing tools rather than replacing them. Balancing this vision within a hackathon timeline required careful prioritization.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of transforming a bold idea into a working prototype in just a few days. Rather than building another productivity tool, we focused on laying the foundation for an AI operating system that can unify an organization's knowledge, tools, and workflows. While this is just the beginning, we're excited by Weave's potential to grow into something much bigger beyond the hackathon.

What we learned

We learned that great AI products are built around context, not just conversation. Designing a scalable AI-first product taught us the importance of simplicity, clear architecture, and focusing on solving real workflow problems.

What's next for Weave

Our roadmap includes GitHub, Notion, Slack, and Linear integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), persistent company memory, AI agents, workflow automation, and an executive insights dashboard. Our goal is to make Weave the intelligent operating system every modern company can rely on.
