I worked mainly on the back-end, mainly with Firebase, the database storage method we used for this project. It was my first time using javascript in a long time, so I kept making a lot of mistakes with it.

Mainly worked on the main home page and learned a lot about API's as well as reinforcing my knowledge on HTML/CSS.

Aaron Gee
I worked on the main weather page, connecting to the weather and map APIs to display the different weather and map layers on top of each other, and then also to create the pop-up with the weather stats of the location clicked.

It was my first time extensively using JavaScript for a larger project, so I learned a lot about its weird prototypical OOP and functional programming like closures and promises. It was a pain debugging, though, especially after coming from a strict, statically-typed language like Java.
