Inspiration

Our live depends on weather conditions. there are a lot of alarming systems, but no one targets your profile and knows, how to help you in live situations.

What it does

Alarming and recommendation system for different users (location, habits, hobbies and other properties).

How we built it

On top of microsoft asp .net stack and the weather api from ibm (weather.com). Web technology based (html, css, javascript, c#, rest...)

Challenges we ran into

Api was build on swagger, but couldn't be used for autogeneration (autorest). The objects are completely different from method to method and the api was offline for about 4h. Generating human profiles (what can we show for the mvp). There were a lot of ideas also like recommend insurances, advertising stuff like selling sunglasses or skin-protection-cream over smoke-test-buttons.
