Inspiration

We wanted to build an application that can help people plan their day according to the weather around them. It can also help tourists plan their itinerary for each day during their vacation.

What it does

The user can input the location they want to see the activities and weather for, and the application will predict the weather for the next 15 days and also display things the user can do and places they can go based on the weather in that area.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges we ran into while developing this project were to implement the backend via Node.js on Google cloud. We wanted to leverage the google cloud for hosting our app. Since it was the first time we were using this as hosting platform we had to learn it within a day which was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really proud of achieving the tasks we had planned, We are happy to be able to contribute in this event and learn how to use Google cloud.

What we learned

We learned how to use weather api to fetch data in angular application and also hosting the same on GCP.

What's next for WeatherIShouldGoOut?

In future this app will be able to suggest more refined set of activities based on both temperature and location with filters in subactivities as well.
