WeatherCycle: Your Ultimate Cycling Companion
Inspiration 🌞🚴♀️ In a city with unpredictable weather, I often missed great cycling days. To solve this, I created WeatherCycle, an app delivering real-time weather insights tailored for cyclists.
Learning 🌦️🔧 I harnessed weather data and user-friendly design to create WeatherCycle. Using Python and OpenWeatherMap API, I built a script assessing cycling-friendly conditions based on temperature, weather, and wind.
Challenges 🌧️🌬️ Handling API responses and creating a user-friendly experience were key hurdles. Navigating JSON data and implementing input validation were important skills I honed.
Future 🚀 WeatherCycle will offer more customization options, a user-friendly interface, and mobile app. The goal is to help cyclists plan with precision.
Conclusion 🌈🚵♀️ WeatherCycle combines my coding passion with cycling. It taught me API integration, data handling, and design skills. WeatherCycle ensures no cycling day is missed.
