Have you ever wanted to check the weather quickly? Wondered if you should grab an umbrella or put on some sunscreen for the day? Weather to Bring it lets you know in a quick and effective manner 'weather' you need to plan ahead. Displaying the weather with a minimalistic theme, with only the necessary details you need to answer the pressing question: "Should I bring an extra layer of clothing?".

Our team wanted to learn how to use React since none of us had worked with it before, and the Weather Network API sounded fun to work with. We also love MSPaint.

I worked on connecting the api calls to the front end, and getting all the data to display correctly.

Iris Zhou
I focused on learning how to use React JSX, something I had never worked with before. I helped design and create the web application. We used Material UI components to keep a minimalist design. React turned out to be a steeper learning curve than expected, but I feel comfortable now applying it to future projects.

Kahlia Lepple
I worked heavily on the UI design and the style sheets. I also worked a lot on the JavaScript to properly use the Weather Network API. I had never used ReactJS before so this was an amazing learning opportunity.
