Weather impacts our everyday life—whether it’s deciding what to wear, planning a trip, or preparing for emergencies. During the hackathon, we thought: “What if we could build a simple tool that gives people reliable and easy-to-understand weather updates anytime, anywhere?” That idea became the starting point of our Weather Forecast project.

What it does: Our project provides real-time weather forecasts for any city. Users can search for a location and instantly see the current temperature, humidity, wind speed, and conditions (like sunny, rainy, cloudy). It also offers a short-term forecast so people can plan their day better. The goal is to make weather information more accessible and visually clear.

How we built it: We built the project using: Frontend: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a clean and interactive interface. API Integration: We connected it with a weather API to fetch real-time weather data. We worked collaboratively, dividing tasks among fetching data, designing UI, and integrating everything into a smooth flow.

Challenges we ran into: Understanding and integrating the weather API correctly. Handling errors when users entered invalid city names. Making the UI mobile-friendly within the short time frame of the hackathon. Time management—balancing multiple tasks in limited hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Successfully built a working prototype within the hackathon time limit. Designed a user-friendly interface that makes weather information easy to understand. Learned to work effectively as a team, handling both coding and debugging together.

What we learned: How to integrate APIs in real-world projects. The importance of clean, responsive design for better user experience. Team coordination, task division, and managing deadlines under pressure. Debugging and testing on the go.

What's next for Weather Forecast: Adding 7-day extended forecasts. Including live maps with weather patterns. Providing alerts for extreme conditions like storms or heavy rainfall.
