Hi everyone👋
My name is Vidhi Sareen along with my teammates Mahesh we have created a simple and a basic weather forecasting application which would run on any phone (from a simple farmer to a business man can use it) irrespective whether it is a simple phone mode to any android device.

Inspiration

The inspiration for creating this application came from the fact that the climate is changing dramatically these days. At one moment, the bright yellow sun is shining high above your head, while at another, it is drizzling. People's lives are becoming more problematic, a result of this unusual climate change. This has resulted in numerous disruptions.🙁

That's was main concern to built this APP to make life of people smooth and effective.😀😀

Platform we used?

we used android studio for building this application. We think it is the placed for all the beginner to built there APPs. We have taken API keys from openweather platform.link

How does it worked?🤔

As soon as we turn on the application, we get a splash screen. Then, if we have not allowed our GPS location on, a pop up screen will appear, asking us to allow or deny the GPS location.

After that, the final screen will appear. Which displays your current location's weather, including all parameters such as weather, temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, degree, gust, and so on.

Then we can change the location to any type or location of your choosing. The API will then call itself and display the weather for that specific location.

Challenges that we placed

There were many problem that we faced while building this application. The API was not able to detect the current location. There was a miss match with latitude and longitude combination. The constraint was changing while we switch to another device. But at last we were able to take control over these problem and solved to a greater extend.

Improvement in future

we can add many features to our application in future like showing a week long weather detection. Showing graphs for the same to get more understanding and a clear vision. 😀😀😄
