Inspiration

I took inspiration from the apple weather app and I decided to make a similer version with accurate information.

What it does

It takes the city that the user input and after he hits the search button, it displays the temperature in fahrenheit, the wind speed in kmph, humidity percentage and displays an image accorsign to the climate such as sunny or raining.

How we built it

I used Javascript for the functions and to get information from an API. Used CSS for the sizing and for the colors. Used HTML for the basic information for the website.

Challenges we ran into

It was hard to incorporate Javascript into this program as the Javascript for this isn't that simple and it was hard to create the box for the infromation to be displayed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of how fast and easily it displays the weather information for the city. I am also proud of how simple it is in displaying its information.

What we learned

I learned how to incorpate API into websites. I also learned how to use javascript to enhance the website usage.

What's next for WEATHER APP

I want to add a row that displays the weather for the upcoming week in the area prompted. I also want to add a map that you can see the heat or percipitation for the upcoming day. I know this is ambitious, but I really want to add this in the future.
