Inspiration

I always wanted to know what the weather was and how bad it is to be at a certain temperature so i made a website that show that

What it does

Allows you to check the weather in real time

How we built it

I used chatgpt weather api for real time weather at different place and used basic html and css

Challenges we ran into

This was my first time working with an external API, so I struggled a bit with handling asynchronous functions using async/await and making sure errors were properly caught and displayed to the user.

Also, setting up Firebase and deploying the app took some time, especially understanding how to configure hosting and set up the correct project structure.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to complete a working weather app that shows real-time weather information and allows users to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. It was my first time using Node.js and Firebase, and I’m proud that I was able to understand how backend and hosting work while building this app.

What we learned

I also realized how important it is to think about user experience and design a simple, user-friendly interface.

What's next for Untitled

I want to add a feature that recommends appropriate clothing based on the current weather conditions.
