Inspiration
First impressions lasts, And I believe the way how people see you has everything to do with your character So i think it's important the way you dress gives people around you a good impression but not everyone has that stylistic ability, so let's offload that to an expert that is personalised to make you look authentic and your best
What it does
A web app that allows you to input events and other information that give you recommended outfits to make you look your best and impress. It also gives you links on amazon to buy the suggestions
How we built it
Claude Opus and Next.js
Challenges we ran into
To keep the scope small for the purposes of the hackathon demo we had to dial back a few things. I wanted to generate AI images of the user wearing the clothing item so they know exactly how they look. This would be too expensive as cost for generating this AI images would be high. We opt for amazon search results instead using Amazon api, which would give more accurate listing, to reduce the scope.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
App is built to completion even if it's a light weight version. But Impressed to see how planning really help speed up the process and give a product that is usuable and accurate to the minimal requirements especially for a mvp
What we learned
Using AI to plan and get requirements before just giving a prompt to build gives much better results
What's next for WearDis
Maybe explore free or low cost AI models to generate images or even provide fashion suggestions
