With an increasing population we see a drastic increase in health concerns but no real, affordable, easy-to-use, accessible solution. We want to be the go to name when people think about health and healthcare.

What it does

Tracks various health markers to catch early signs of deteriorating health and illnesses. Contacts EMS for help and with details about current condition and pre-existing health conditions. Provides users a favorable insurance rates based on their health conditions.

What's different

Existing health products for elderly are bulky, cumbersome and hard to use. Wearable technologies are marketed toward younger audiences in the forms of digital watches and athletes in the forms of digital watches, rings and chest straps; the market for elderly healthcare has not yet been explored.

How our idea works

Example

Smart Health Monitor for Seniors

• Problem: John, 73, lives alone and has a history of hypertension and early-stage heart disease. He often forgets to monitor his blood pressure and struggles to remember important health checks. With no immediate family nearby, he worries about his ability to get timely help in an emergency.

• Target Users: Elderly individuals, especially those living alone or with pre-existing health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or hypertension. This also includes caregivers and family members who want to monitor their loved ones' health remotely.

• How it solves it: John wears a smart health monitor that continuously tracks his vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. One evening, his blood pressure drops suddenly, and his heart rate becomes irregular. The device detects the anomaly and immediately contacts EMS, sending them his current health data, medical history, and location. EMS arrives quickly, equipped with the right information to provide the necessary care.

• What makes it different: Unlike bulky or complicated medical devices, John’s monitor is lightweight, easy to wear, and specifically designed for seniors. It’s intuitive to use and ensures that John’s health is constantly monitored, offering peace of mind to him and his family. The device also provides John with access to affordable insurance options, encouraging healthier living.
