Inspiration

Financial management is one of the biggest challenges in modern society. Picture a salaried person who receives their paycheck on the 1st of the month, only to find they've spent it all by the end of month. This is a common problem in today’s generation, where future planning and tracking financial goals are often neglected. We wanted to create an app that addresses this issue and helps people gain control over their finances.

What it does

WealthWise is an AI-powered mobile app that simplifies money management, with a focus on future planning and tracking financial goals. It assists users in setting financial targets, tracking spending, and providing personalized insights to optimize their financial decisions, offering a clear view of their financial health.

How we built it

We built WealthWise using Flutter for the front-end, ensuring a seamless user experience across both Android and iOS devices. We integrated Firebase for secure data storage and management, while leveraging machine learning to offer personalized financial advice and forecasting based on the user’s spending habits and goals.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was developing an intuitive user interface that made complex financial concepts easy to understand. We also had to ensure that the machine learning algorithms provided accurate and actionable insights without overwhelming the user.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a user-friendly app that not only simplifies financial management but also makes future planning and goal tracking accessible to everyone. Integrating machine learning and Firebase with Flutter successfully was another significant achievement.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned how critical it is to simplify complex problems, such as financial management, through intuitive design. We also deepened our understanding of integrating machine learning with mobile development frameworks like Flutter.

What's next for WealthWise

We plan to enhance WealthWise by introducing more advanced financial forecasting features, multi-currency support, and investment tracking. We also aim to expand our platform to include more personalized financial advice and deeper integrations with banking APIs.
