Inspiration

Individuals with low self-love are more likely to tolerate abuse and mistreatment from others. They may neglect their own needs and feelings because they don't value themselves.

What it does

WeAffirm provides users with personalized affirmations to help users in their self-love journey.

How we built it

I built the website with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and used Figma and Canva for design, logo and presentation. I deployed the website with Github Pages.

Challenges we ran into

At first, I didn't know how to incorporate the dataset into my files to use it in my code, but I solved the issue later on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I have been able to reach the goals that I set for this project especially related to JavaScript functionalities.

What we learned

This was my first time using a dataset as a part of the website, so I learned a lot about datasets and JSON.

What's next for WeAffirm

Making an app version of the website, growing the database of affirmations, adding more customizable features.
