Web application to link medical officers willing to work and volunteer in the regions that need more personnel due to huge number of patients n the hospitals at the moment

Inspiration

Their is huge number of patients compared to the number of medical personnel in almost all the hospitals across the world at the moment due to Covid-19 and i believe their is also a good number of qualified people who (maybe are not employed especially in Kenya) are willing to volunteer to help fight this pandemic.

What it does

Medical officers who are available to help in this fight are able to register online and the government will be able to know and identify them so that they can be requested/Contacted to help in the hospitals.

How I built it

I am building this application using React js,Node(Express) and MySQL Database

Challenges I ran into

I had Limited time to think about the idea and to have prototype.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The app is almost complete by now!

What I learned

To be innovative and have a project in use within a short period of time.

What's next for We shall overcome

make the application a robust one that will enable the government to know its capabilities in human resource in all fields so that should another disaster arise they can easily get the right persons to take up the task quickly.
