Inspiration

Daily work consists of tasks and decisions. There are a lot of tools for task management, but no tools for decision making. For virtual teams it's very helpful to have such tools as they need even more structure in the way they collaborate.

What it does

The app creates a decision board within Microsoft Teams, containing serval decision card to be decided on. Team members can submit new decisions to all decision makers. Decision makers get a notification and reminders to approve or reject the decision automatically from a bot.

A decision card contains the following information: Title, Summary, Implications in case of approval, Implications in case of rejection, Attachments, Due date

How I built it

The app was build for Microsoft Teams. React and Node.Js development stack.

Challenges I ran into

Understanding the Microsoft Teams architecture. Understand the bot framework from MS Azure.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Running app in Microsoft Teams and a website.

What I learned

We could easily work together as a team from home.

What's next for We Decide! Better decision making for virtual teams.

Publishing the App to the Microsoft Teams AppStore (AppSource). 44 Million Microsoft Teams users.
