We were told we cannot sleep if the purple vest people see us! So we attempted to make a phone application that alerts us when they are seen walking by and avoid suspicions of sleeping..

Inspiration

The unexpected situation of not being permitted to sleep at any given time has inspired us to rebel against the purple vests people

What it does

An phone application with a camera that will recognise purple vests and notify us that a volunteer is approaching us with the intent to wake us up!

How we built it

Worked with Tensorflow to train the AI model and linked it with Android Studio to make a working app

Challenges we ran into

Getting the system to recognise our own dataset correctly and a unwilling member

What's next for We-Can-Sleep

We would like to get a working prototype and expand this app to other possible workers that would like to sleep such as engineers and recognising their yellow safety jacket or teachers and their smart attire
